Partial feeding and birth control?

I have been pumping exclusively for my 5-month old for 4 months. I decided to wean him and have slowed down my pumping, but I've been reading into partial or "part-time" feeding, and I'd like to try doing that - where I feed him formula for half his feedings and milk for the rest. My question is - what birth control method should i use? I'm on the mini pill now, but I thought that once you stop feeding you should switch to a regular pill. I was screwing around with my friend and I ran quite fast and hit left pinkie toe hard on the door. I didn't see colors and it didn't hurt the first few seconds then the pain came. I continued to screw around, intill the pain was unbearable. I was so scared I broke it. Its the first day of spring break...come on!.... I read that swelling and discoloration were prime factors of a broken toe. I compared my two toes and if anything I have a very slight swelling of the left toe. It does hurt to walk put only on the left side of the foot. and not the whole left side, maybe a few inches of the left side. The only color on my toe is red. It does hurt pretty bad. Please help. I really hope I don't have a broken toe. Also it hurts only very slightly if my foot is not touching the ground.

To recap: Someone in the neighborhood I work in saw a little boy mowing his lawn alongside his parents' future business. The witness saw a rock fly and hit my car, denting it and causing some paint chipping. The owners of the future business were gone for the day, so I have to wait through the holiday weekend to take action (I don't know their names or have any phone numbers). Several in the last post told me to cover it with comprehensive insurance, but I've got a $500 deductible which is probably more than the cost of the repair. I'm hoping that the owners of the future business cover the costs. Many on here and in person have mentioned that their homeowners insurance can cover this, but this is at their business. Would that change matters? If the future business owners aren't willing to comply, I'm planning on contacting the police. Would that be logical?

Dirt bike pops after carburetor cleaned?

My yamaha enduro 175 needed a carburetor cleaning. I bought a carburetor cleaner spray at a local store. Took the carburetor apart and cleaned the float boal, needle pin, valve, jets, and everything else that needed to be cleaned. Once i put it back, I started the bike and two things happened. The first is that it doesnt want to run without the choke, and the second is that there occasionally is a pop coming from the muffler. What might be the problem. I think the bike isnt getting enough fuel, air mixture but Im not sure. Thanks.

Your best bet, if you are patient, is to work with your child yourself. Besides, it would probably do more for the child's self-esteem if you looked up things you can do with him/her on the internet, and then did them at home. Because kids are cruel, and the child will be called awful names and teased if anyone finds out the child is slow in any way. And this can be more detrimental to a child then actually not being as "smart" as the other children

Lately (last month) me and my wife have become severely emotionally detached. Despite my best efforts , she just shows no interest in me. I'm an EMT I work a minimum of 48 hours a week in 4 12 hour shifts I also work nights. It's the only shift I could get it's not by my choice. I'm the only money maker in the household she stays home with the kids 3 of which aren't biologically mine but I took them in and treat them in as my own, we only have one child together. In the last 4 weeks making love has dropped of to one time a week if that. I try to talk to her about and make sure that she's still attracted to me and to see if I've done anything to make her lose interest in me but to no avail. She won't even cuddle in bed with me anymore on my nights off, she's getting frustrated why I keep asking why we never make love anymore, she's keeps asking why it always comes down to that subject. And I can only think because it's the only time I get to be close to you anymore! She's making me feel pigheaded that I just want to make love to my wife! Hey question: I'm a 20 year old kid in college who is just figuring out that the world is not even close to black and white. Almost every issue has developed defined side that strongly supports it's claims. The problem is that most people that I come in contact with, not excluding myself, seems to have very little actual knowledge of the side that they "support." There seems be an incredible amount of uninformed individuals who are crazy about their cause. Now I don't want to be told which side to take, obviously I want to make the decision because I know all the facts and come to the conclusion that coincides with the morals that I keep hold of. Its extremely hard to get to the root of an issue without someone driving home a opinion not feeling the need to back it up. A technical guy can fix it. The chip inside the phone will be replaced with new one and the keyboard will be working like new one. The ports must have got short circuit which can damage keyboard IC, replacing the port and IC can solve your problem. I hope rest of the ICs and circuit is fine otherwise its gonna cost a lot.

Ok it's a bit of a long story but I'll cute it as short as possible. I've been single for a while and I'm kind of tired of it. OUCH!!! What should i do?

I was building some flat pack furniture today and was stupidly using an OLD screwdriver with a lot of rust on it! I was screwing a nail in when the screwdriver slipped and stuck into the skin between my thumb and the finger next to it, I've just put a plaster over it although it went in pretty deep, it still hurts and it bled for ages, and now has a huge disgusting hole, but because the screw driver was really rusty, will I need a tet needle? First of all, my boyfriend and I have both been sterilized, so the chances of my being pregnant are pretty much nil. I'm 40 years old, and normally get my periods like clockwork. This month, I had my usual cramping...but never any bleeding. I started exercising regularly around 2 weeks ago (I went from 0 exercise to around 45 minutes daily). Okay I will start off explaining the semi part. For moms who fed on demand?

It has been 1 week since my baby has been born. I am feeding on demand. Has anyone who fed on demand feel like they were literally feeding ALL THE TIME or is it just me? I have been logging the feedings and it's to a point where there are only 15-45 minute breaks *most* of the time. There are two 3-hour breaks. One in the afternoon and one in the evening. There is also a 5 one in the middle of night. It just seems like he is a "cluster" feeder. He eats for 3 hours and sleeps for 3 hours...

Her due date doesn't add up right?

So my bf has this girl from out of town that has been saying she's pg'd from him. We got together about 9 months ago and he slept with this girl once right before he and I started our relationship. He said he hung out with her twice & slept with her once. So he says he was with her in the begning of March at a party which I remember was around the 15th of March. At first she told him her due date was around the 9th of Dec. which based on that due date there was a good chance it was his. I talked to her finally in Oct. and she confirmed that she was with him in March to me but we didnt; talk long cause she started cryin and said she couldn't deal with this at the time. Fine I let it be, well since then we hadn't heard from her. He finally called her about two weeks ago to see what the status was and she tell him that she is due the last few days of Dec. or by the 1st of Jan. So now with those dates, there's no way she got pregnant in March, she had to have gotten pg'd in April, early April. I've talked to him and told him if he's lying to me about when he slept with her because the dates dont add up and it couldn't be his. He says no that he was with her in March and that she also told me that. She also told him that he could name the baby, which is a girl. I'm not liking this one bit and I don't think he should be around until he gets a test right? or am I being the jealous gf? And if this kid does end up being his that means he slept with her after me and him were official which I will have a big problem with. I haven't held it against him cause I've been under the umption that he slept with her before me but if that's not the case we have problems. I dont know how I'm going to deal with him being around that baby until I know for sure it's his and he says he dont know what to do. My 11 year old daughter fell down a flight of stairs at a college basketball game. (Just an accident) We immediately took her to the ER. Her right cheek and eye, left forearm, and left foot were all swollen and bruised. They x-rayed her arm and foot. The ER doctor said she didn't see any breaks, but she would have the radiologist look them over and call if he found anything. She told my daughter that it would be extremely painful because the bruises and swelling were severe on hard to break bones. She gave her no limitations. We were in and out in about 25 minutes. For the next week and a half my daughter attempted to participate in volleyball conditioning, crying to her coach and my husband and I. She woke up everynight in pain. Being that she has never endured 'pain', we just kept encouraging her to work it out. Finally, I called our doctor and he had her arm x-rayed. She had 2 breaks in her wrist and one in her elbow. I immediately called the ER and requested her x-ray films and reports. The next day the ER doctor called my husband and apologized that she didn't see the 2 breaks, but the radiologist confirmed that she had them, they just didn't let us know. The thing is the first x-ray showed 2 breaks, now there are 3 breaks. We then had to see an orthopedic specialist who put her in a cast. Then later had to see a pediatric orthopedic specialist. While her wrist is now healed, her elbow is still giving her problems. She still can't extend her arm all the way. On top of all of this we have bill after bill for all the doctors, hospital and radiology. Although our insurance is decent, had this been caught at the ER, we would have been covered 100% as an emergency. Plus, my daughter wouldn't have been going through volleyball conditioning and enduring all the pain prior to the correct treatment.

Most likely because there are almost NO jobs right now. People are getting laid off everywhere, and there are people with high educational degrees who can't find anything at all. I know of someone who lost her job at NBC/Universal (A GE company), and right now she can't even find work at McDonalds. I'm not saying there is anything wrong with McDonalds, but college degrees and long term study is not a requirement to work there. Hopefully the economy picks up globally, and jobs will flourish. Can you use carburetor cleaner spray to clean brake dust out of a brake drum?

I live in a small town where most families are not very well off. I would like to start a travel basketball team for 5th graders. I am thinking about trying to raise between $1,000 - $5,000 dollars for the team. I was born here in the US to a mother who's family is from Honduras. She is Spanish, possibly part indigenous (her ancestry in that sense is pretty obscure) and a quarter German.She has black, curly hair, dark brown eyes and olive skin and is very thin.My father is German and British and has blond hair, fair skin, blue eyes, etc., but I am an only child who came out looking just like my mom, except my hair isnt as curly. They are married but my Dad was usually always at work, so I was basically raised by my mom, who spent every day all day talking about Honduras and being Hispanic to anyone who would listen, especially me. She spoke Spanish on the phone with her sister every day, but even though I frequently asked, would never teach Spanish to me although in school i had very good linguistic aptitude with both French and Latin.(I also took Spanish for a while, but it bugged me that my mom was no help when everyone thought i should have an advantage b/c of her, so that was that.) However, I grew up in an unsafe neighborhood where there weren't many other kids and i wasnt allowed to go outside, and as she was a stay-at home-mom (although when i was 16 she got a job as a spanish translator) she was the biggest influence on my life. Even though quite frankly she was extremely controlling and i was never a fan of the stay-at-home deal. But my point is that i feel like she is my only cultural ociation, b/c in an isolated neighboorhood and with the generally absent dad,and a mom that generally discouraged me from sports (even though for a while i was mvp for track and cross country) i dont feel like i really have much in common with the typical american "white" kids, with athletic lives, fair skin and friendly safe neighboorhoods.
