What to do with my married boyfriend?

8 months ago i met a man online, he was everything i could wish for even tho i make it a point to NOT to meet people online because we chatted so long before, I said why not. We began to date and i met some of his family and he met some of mine. He and I seem to fit, then after 3 months i noticed some odd situations. So i broke it off, but i agreed to be friends with him. Just friends with no phyiscal contact. I asked him several times if he was married and he repeatly denied it. We remained friends, but he aggressively pursued me when i decided not to talk to him telling me loved me. Even taking me to his house!! He finally admitted being "involved" not even calling it marriage and told me he was very unhappy. There is no phyical contact in our friendship and I don't know what he wants from me. According to him it's just friendship....what should i do?
