I need the name of this old film?!?

Ages and ages ago, i saw this film where two children (a boy and a girl) witnessed a murder, the some other stuff happens, and then at the end of the film they get cast a drift, After the credite of the film, the two children come sailing across the sreen. The film had a sinister feel to it. Please please help me!!! thankyou.
