In Red Dwarf Episode 4.06 (Meltdown) What film is the Godzilla-like clip from?

Kryten and Rimmer, after finding a transporter device, are teleported to waxworld and are "chased" by two monsters from a (presumably) Japanese film. They use a clip from a film, and I would like to know which film it was from.
